Ginny (Alto 2) has been singing and performing since the age of 12 years old.  Her mother, a talented vocalist and pianist who performed yearly with the Detroit Madrigal Singers under the direction of Mr. A. Mackleberg, encouraged Ginny to study voice and piano starting at a young age.  She continued to study voice and piano throughout her high school years and also performed with the Detroit Madrigal Singers under the direction of Carolyn Eynon.  Ginny became a more dedicated musician after having the privilege of spending eight weeks studying voice and musical theater at The Interlochen Summer Arts Academy.  She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and Theater, with an emphasis on vocal studies and musical theater.
She now has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Michigan and works as an obstetrical and surgical/OR nurse.  Presently, Ginny is a member of the Grosse Pointe Theater, and has been seen in their productions of "Annie" and "Bye, Bye Birdie".  She is a cantor and member of the contemporary choir, " the Anthems" at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Ginny has been with the Detroit Concert Choir since 2001, is in awe at the talent and musicianship of each of its members and is grateful for the opportunity to perform with such gifted people.
